Friday, April 12th - more winter on the way

It's -2' this morning at 5:30 and we should reach a high of 3' later with a mix of sun and cloud. The snow is still slowly leaving but apparently old man winter isn't finished with us just yet. We have a snow fall warning for tonight and tomorrow - possibly up to 15 cm of the white stuff. Of course, they told us that last weekend as well and it turned out to be more like 10 to 15 flakes instead. Here's hoping the same thing happens again this time around. But who knows. Southern Ontario was lambasted with freezing rain yesterday and the school buses were all cancelled. What happened to Spring???
Work has been extremely busy this week as just about everyone has been having their winter tires taken off. I just might be glad that I haven't done that yet when tomorrow comes.

Not a lot going on this weekend. We are going out tonight to once again sample some burgers. Lloyd and Bernie went to Phinley's in Stratford on Wednesday and had their offering so that's one more to cross off the list - The Smokin Fox:

Two 5oz Island Beef patties, Mayo, homemade Onion chips, homemade Sweet & Smoky BBQ Sauce, Sweet & Spice Jalapeno infused Bacon, 2 yr old Smoked Applewood Cheddar, Tomato, and Leaf Lettuce on a Poppy Seed Roll, garnished with Baby Gherkin Pickles, Thai Chili and Cherry Tomato

Other than that, the weekend is wide open. Bernie is heading to Moncton to pick up Meghan (1) who is visiting for a little bit so that will be nice for them. Brenda and I will likely spend some time planning a breakfast that the church is having at the end of the month. It's the first time we've done a breakfast so it will be an interesting project.
