Wednesday, October 22nd - it's been a strange few days

It's a soggy 11' this morning and that's pretty much where it's going to stay for most of the day, although the rain should stop this morning and change to a mix of sun and clouds.

Let's just say that there seems to be some residual affects from the full moon and leave it at that. No idea where some of these people are coming from, but do the really strange ones have to come to our dealership?  We do the best we can to help, but sometimes we just can't. Not to worry - things seem to be settling down again. It was a little crazy the past two days as we were short 3 salesmen on both Monday and Tuesday. Today should be back to normal - whatever that is!

Monday was a pretty quiet evening and Tuesday was our dance class. We're going to talk to our instructor next week and ask him to take things a little slower, until we're comfortable with the steps we have so far. We seem to be really struggling, and a new step each week isn't really helping much. With only the two of us in the class, he should be amenable to slowing things down a little bit for us two old ladies!

After our class, we headed downtown to the Maple Grille for their pulled pork sandwich and a beverage. It was actually our favorite so far, of the ones we've tasted. Instead of a bun, it has a scooped out half of a baked potato so it's like a meal in itself. Of course I liked it for it's name - Sgt. Pepper Pork - (speaking of which, when I got home the new Paul McCartney CD had arrived and was sitting on the counter. Something to listen to on my way to work! ) Back to the sandwich, which was pretty darn tasty. Combined with a nice cold beer, it was a perfect way to end our evening.

It's going to be a little disappointing to see this promotion finish at the end of the month. It really makes our Tuesday evenings more interesting.

Brenda advised that Meghan has made it safe and sound to Italy, and today was heading with the tour to spend a couple of days in another part of the country. She's going to have lots of stories to share when she gets back, I just know it.
