It's been a busy few days. Patti and Meghan were here for the weekend and it was great to have that time together. As can be expected there was lots of shopping and many choices. But we did spend Saturday out in Provincetown. Meghan cooked pancakes for all of us and then we headed out. It's about an hours drive from Hyannis but things were slowed down in spots for a running relay that was taking place. We arrived in town and found a parking lot by the wharf and got tickets to go whale watching. We had time for a bite to eat first then we were out on the water. It was a highly successful trip as we saw a LOT of whales. We were heading back in and were treated to a spectacular show put on by a humpback that breached repeatedly. (For those of us who are into that sort of thing, it was pretty spectacular.)
After docking we walked around town and checked out all the little shops. We finally headed out on the road again so we could get back before dark ( and before the mall closed). After all the fresh air we were all pretty tired.
Sunday was our shop till you drop day. I was looking for bedding and found just what I was looking for. Meg also found a number of things. All in all a great weekend.
