Well, after the busy days over the holidays the past two were pretty quiet. On Sunday I just could not get warm, and I wasn't even in the water! I thought I might be coming down with something so stayed away from Donna's supper invitation. Monday was a little better after a good nights sleep although the house was still kept quite warm throughout the day. I did manage to take down the tree and set up the computer and the larger monitor in the living room so it will stay in one place and not take up one of my kitchen counters.
Brenda, the ever energetic one, went off to exercise class last night and then dropped in for a glass of wine and some natchos. (The wine was open from New Years Eve so we needed to drink it before it spoils).
I did finally talk to James last night. He was pretty quiet although he did say his weekend was "awesome". I think that's a bit of an understatement. I received an email from Greg with this photo of James right after scoring the winning goal. It's from the Ottawa Sun newspaper with the following caption:
"Guelph Jr. Storm's #4 James Dennison is mobbed by teammates Parker Varnal (L) and Kevin Tait (R) after he scored the overtime winning goal against the Ottawa West Golden Knights in the Minor Peewee A Championship game at Scotiabank Place in Ottawa.
